Join me at the Main Line Art Center! I encourage all levels! There are always opportunities to experiment and learn new things, even if you have already taken a class in wet cyanotypes.
The cyanotype is both a printmaking process and the oldest photographic process. It was developed in the 1800’s as a way to create multiple copies in an easy & cost-efficient way, which uses UV light to create magical blue works of art. This is actually where the blueprint got its name!
In this workshop, we will take the traditional cyanotype process a step further. We will use bubbles and water to create magical blue and teal cyanotypes, with the Wet Cyanotype Technique. All materials will be provided.
